Tree Tracey

Dr Tracey Benson is a media artist, educator, digital strategist and social scientist based in Australia, between Canberra and Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

With over 20 years experience in the tertiary sector and 15 years in the public sector, Tracey works with a range of digital technologies to engage audiences and to inspire ideas. Tracey often collaborates with cultural owners and guides – working with Indigenous Elders and communities, historians and scientists. Community and audience engagement are critical and this is echoed across all program domains. Tracey established Bytetime in 1996 to work with NGOs, schools and creative organisations to support digital capability building.

 

Martin Drury is a photographer, designer, support worker and information technologist based in Canberra, Australia. 

Martin Drury

With over 30 years experience in the public sector, Martin began his cartographic career with the National Mapping Office. After establishing himself as a highly skilled map publisher, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority recruited him to be their resident cartographer for 7 years. He later worked with the WA government before returning to Canberra to work in quality management with Geoscience Australia and IP Australia. Martin also has a degree in IT and an interest in experimental photography.
